Introducing 'Adam' : our first make it yourself puppet
|
|
|
“Do you sell patterns, so we can make our own puppets?”
A question we have been asked on several occasions.
We are aware that there is a demand for this kind of information, but there are many pitfalls in puppet construction. Patterns do not always give you all the information you need, or show you all the techniques required to produce a satisfactory puppet. So instead of offering a set of patterns, we decided to offer a puppet kit of parts, together with a step by step photo guide in the making of one of our people puppets. ( see links below to download)
The cost of a puppet kit is £18-00 + £4-00 P&P
Making your puppet photo guide can be downloaded free (see below);
CD guide with all the photos can be ordered for an extra £2.

MAKING YOUR PUPPET
|
When you open the puppet kit commentary below, you will find details of the processes included in each photo group.
Please note:
In the step by step photo guide showing the construction methods, we have used black thread instead of a peach skin colour to enable you to see the lines of stitching more clearly. You should, of course, use a skin matching thread!!
